Come Join Connect The Dots Occupational Therapy and KidVille at our Wine and Cheese Open House highlighting our new class: TUMMY TIME THERAPY

Hi All!

We have an exciting collaboration beginning between Connect the Dots OT and Kidville Hoboken! Come join the Director of CTD as well as the Director of KidVille Hoboken for wine and cheese on Thursday, April 12th, 2018. You can stop by anytime between 5:30 PM – 7 PM and it’s located at 1202 Shipyard Lane, Hoboken, NJ 07030 (KidVille Hoboken’s location). Learn more about the new classes that will be opening for the summer, and also learn more about the new class we are happy to announce: Tummy Time Therapy!

At Tummy Time Therapy, you will be connecting with your little one and promoting their physical development. Led by Connect The Dots OT, PLLC’s therapist, Lindsey Britt, these 45-minute sessions will help strengthen and build both the baby’s neck and shoulder muscles. Never too early to start, tummy time also promotes measurable milestones such as rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and walking! Parents and caregivers will learn how to support their baby as their strength increases, encourage their babies to play on their tummies, and learn strategies on what to do when your baby is resisting tummy time. Best  for babies who are newborns to pre-sitting, these classes are a proven way of encouraging and promoting a healthy development as well as enhancing the connection/bond with your baby all while having fun!

A little bit about CTD and our OT: Connect the Dots OT PLLC was established in 2006 and in 2015 was awarded by Open Care as a Top Occupational Therapy practice with some of New York’s Best Occupational Therapists.  Beyond working privately with families within New Jersey and New York homes, CTD has won the NYC Public School 5-year contract twice in a row, servicing over 200 students annually all throughout NYC Schools. Lindsey Britt is a pediatric OT who currently works with children at a medical day care and a long-term care unit in a hospital for kids.   Lindsey works closely with parents and caregivers  to provide strategies for home carry-over and improve child/caregiver bonding, in addition to improving your child’s  gross motor skills, fine motor skills, visual abilities, and sensory processing.  She is excited to bring her experience and knowledge to the Kidville community with  Tummy Time Therapy!
